ABISOBRUSH
What can an ABISOBRUSH device do?
Stripping enamelled round wires and flat copper with a diameter/thickness between 0,15mm and 6mm.
How do ABISOBRUSH devices differ?
After three decisions, you will know what device suits to your needs:
- Device Type: If the ABISOBRUSH needs to be carried around or held in a special position choose the hand held device. The largest brush size is only available for stationary machines however.
- Brushes: Choose the brushes based on the diameter of the wires you want to strip.
- Exhaust Adapter: Choose the exhaust adapter if you want to want to vacuum off the stripping remains.
How does an ABISOBRUSH work?
All ABISOBRUSH devices strip the wire between two rotating brushes. The brushes’ distance can be infinitely adjusted to the wire thickness by turning a setscrew. The HQ35P, ST35 or ST40 are designed to strip thick wire. In this case no force should be applied on the wire and hence both brushes rotatate the same way in all those devices. However the HQ30’s brushes counter rotate and pull the wire into the stripping device. By using different types of brushes the stripping quality can be adjusted the wire diameter and the isolation material.
How do you strip a round copper wire quickly?
Push the wire in the ABISOBRUSH, turn the wire by 90 degree and pull it out again. Done. The wire can also be stripped in the between by inserting the wire laterally.
Catalog
- All ABISOFIX devices can be equiped with an exhaust adapter. When ordering an ABISOFIX with the exhaust feature append “-SA” to the ordering name. For example “ST40.L-SA” is stationary stripping device with 40mm brushes, 230V alternating current and exhaust adapter.
- The recommended wire dimensions are supposed to be benchmark values. Large brushes remove more surface material. Thin brushes lead to a cleaner surface. Other brush sizes can be provided on request.
